Work-life balance
We've always been flexible; it comes with the territory of an independent business. Anyone can work from home when needed (which is 100% of the time for some). But most of us choose to spend work days in our agency home at The Works — a few miles south of Cambridge. Not only do we like each other's company, but it's through conversation and 'aha' moments that the best work comes to light. We also have a famous 'no long hours' policy. Make no mistake; when we need to work late to crack a deadline we do, but by prioritising a culture of efficiency and open communication we rarely need to.
Investing in people
Because we’re all about people, we do personal development differently. Each member of the team has a monthly ‘Proud’ review with their manager, focusing on identifying and nurturing strengths and dealing with concerns before they develop. We also encourage a culture of exercise and staying active, whether on our own time or during the working day, and as a small incentive, we gift everyone with new trainers each year. These are just some of the reasons why we gained ‘We invest in People, Gold’ accreditation from Investors in People; proving that ‘Where People Matter’ is more than our motto…it's how we work.
