As we enter an exciting new chapter, with ambitious plans to grow over the next two to three years, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
What you’ll be working on
Our work is varied and grounded in real patient and healthcare needs. You might be:
- Delivering clinical trial recruitment and retention campaigns that help patients understand, engage, and stay involved in studies
- Creating patient and HCP materials that make complex information clear and easy to understand
- Managing digital and print communications, from websites and animations to leaflets and toolkits
- Supporting disease awareness campaigns that address real gaps in understanding and engagement
- Working on projects shaped by patient insight, co-creation, and audience needs

About the role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects across our clinical trial engagement and healthcare communications portfolio.
Your work will directly support patients, healthcare professionals and clinical research, so you’ll need a strong eye for detail and a good understanding of audience needs.
You will act as the main day-to-day client contact for allocated projects, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. You will run client and internal project meetings, maintain clear documentation and ensure agreed actions are progressed.
You will coordinate internal teams and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within approved scope and budget, and to a high standard. You will be solution-focused and proactive, identifying risks early, resolving challenges efficiently and maintaining control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
Project management
- Manage individual projects from initiation through to completion
- Act as the main day-to-day client contact for allocated projects, ensuring smooth communication and coordination
- Run client and internal project meetings, ensuring clear actions and follow-up
- Develop project timelines, monitor milestones, and communicate any changes to stakeholders
- Coordinate internal teams and suppliers to ensure aligned and efficient delivery
- Proactively identify and manage project challenges, resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Content, and Strategy to ensure seamless execution of projects
- Ensure completion of quality review processes across projects
- Ensure regular project debriefs are conducted
Financial management
- Manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Identify scope changes early, work with relevant client service team members to manage financials effectively and align with company goals
- Monitor time tracking against approved scope
- Escalate financial risks where appropriate
Team collaboration
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Help create a positive and supportive team atmosphere by staying upbeat, working collaboratively, and encouraging a culture of respect and open communication
Key skills and experience
- 18+ months of project or account management experience, particularly in healthcare communications agency
- Strong proven project management skills
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication
- Good financial understanding and confidence managing project budgets
- Teamwork oriented with an ability to multitask and adapt while building relationships at all levels
- Solution focused and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Life science degree or equivalent scientific understanding or project management qualification desirable

Where will you be working?
As our team continues to grow, we ran out of desk space! This meant we needed to take the next step in finding ourselves a new home. As a result, we were very excited to secure a fantastic new office space at ‘The Works’ in Sawston.
