To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Graphic Designer to play a crucial role in educating patients and healthcare professionals about life-changing treatments and innovations. As part of a team of creative thinkers, strategists, animators, writers, and healthcare professionals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real difference in people’s lives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to use their creative skills to drive impactful healthcare communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and design compelling visual content across a range of formats, including print, digital, and social media, while maintaining high standards of accessibility and localisation
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and subject matter experts to deliver designs that align with strategic objectives, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring accuracy through all stages of production
  • Develop engaging materials such as patient education content, clinical trial support resources, and brand campaigns for pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organisations
  • Maintain brand consistency and high standards of design across all projects, incorporating strong typographic and layout skills while troubleshooting potential design issues
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and pitch meetings, demonstrating a problem-solving mindset and technical proficiency, including photo retouching and print production
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and print-readiness while working efficiently under pressure and maintaining a high level of detail

Key skills and experience

  • A degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a design role, ideally within healthcare, education, or a similar industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience in video editing, animation, or web design is a plus but not essential
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including campaign materials, infographics, and digital assets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and respond to feedback

Essential attributes

The ideal candidate is creative, curious, and driven by a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. You will bring a proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail, always looking for ways to elevate your designs and the projects you work on. Adaptability and a willingness to learn are key, as you will be working across a range of formats and subjects. Most importantly, you will share our passion for impactful healthcare communication and take pride in delivering work that truly helps people.

This is a hybrid role and applicants must have the right to work and be based in the UK.

Your Work-Life Balance

We believe in living the value and culture of our company and very much promote a healthy work-life balance for all the team. The following benefits contribute to this:

Flexible working:

We believe that what’s important is not when and where we work, but how and what we achieve, so talk to us about what you are looking for

‘No silly hours’ policy:

Guidance against working too many hours in the week — something which is usually against the marketing agency norm

Climate Positive Workforce:

Each month we donate through Ecologi to offset the carbon we produce in both our personal and professional lives

Where will you be working?

As our team continues to grow, we ran out of desk space! This meant we needed to take the next step in finding ourselves a new home. As a result, we were very excited to secure a fantastic new office space at ‘The Works’ in Sawston.
