At Cuttsy+Cuttsy patient initiatives matter....

Since 2009, the PM Society has been hosting its annual digital awards to recognise digital innovation and effectiveness within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. This year’s event will be taking place on 6th September and many awards will be won and celebrated during what is set to be a fantastic evening.

This year, we are the proud sponsors of the patient initiatives category. Among all the awards being presented on the night, for us, the patient initiatives award stood out as something we could really get behind. Why? Because we’re an agency that’s rooted in patient centricity.

Even in the early days when Mathew and I were setting up Cuttsy+Cuttsy, we knew we wanted to be a company where people matter. This ethos has stuck with us and is applied to everything that we do, from the work that we produce to the way that we produce it. Our clients aren’t clients – they’re our partners; we work alongside them to create tailor-made solutions that help them stand out from the crowd. Our employees aren’t employees – they’re our peers, and it’s their skills, enthusiasm and expertise that shape the work that we do. And of course, patients aren’t patients – they’re people, with unique situations, insights and experiences.

Patient centricity is definitely a buzz word in pharma at the moment. Lots of people talk about it, acknowledge that patient engagement is necessary to get the right outcomes for patients, but not everyone knows where or how to start. With my hand on my heart I can say at Cuttsy+Cuttsy it is something that is core to our business and we know how to do it. Whether we are working on an advertising campaign or educational materials – every project begins with our Co+Create framework and the question ‘What benefit will this ultimately bring to the patient?’ and the answer creates focus to shape the solution.

This is why deciding to sponsor the patient initiatives category at this year’s PM Society Digital Awards was an obvious decision for us. We’re proud to be engaging with such a prestigious event within our industry and we look forward to celebrating work that is changing lives for the better.
